10 01 2007We now have a replacement for Meghan’s engagement ring. Don’t worry, the original is safe and sound in Boulder. We assumed it would be better to travel with a cheapy stand-in but didn’t have time to get one before we left. Anyway, we picked one up in Lima at a crafts fair for 2 Soles = about 60 cents. I re-proposed (this time I didn’t write it down, I actually asked out loud) right there at the craft fair. We didn’t quite get the reaction I wanted. The ring is silver with two interlocking hearts and it has written upon it: Tu y Yo (You and Me). How romantic, right?

Matt and I are getting things together. I sold my car. It was also sad for me to let go of my subaru. we are cleaning out the closets and planning bringing mostly just the winter clothes. How are you guys doing with the things you packed? Is there somthing that Matt and I absolutely can’t leave the country without? Towels? Anyway…. write when you can. I’ll check back to this website if you just want to post something.
